Gastronomica wins AAP/PSP PROSE award

We are very pleased to announce that Gastronomica has won the AAP/PSP PROSE award for Best Design in Print (Journals Category).

The Professional and Scholarly Publishing (PSP) Division of the Association of American Publishers (AAP) announced the winners of the 2008 American Publishers Awards for Professional and Scholarly Excellence (The PROSE Awards) at a luncheon yesterday in Washington D.C. Presented since 1976, the 2008 PROSE Awards received a record-breaking 439 entries - over 100 more than in 2007 and more than ever before in its 33-year history - from 60 professional and scholarly publishers across the country.  Please join us in congratulating editor Darra Goldstein, designer Frances Baca and production coordinator Cheryl Owen Swope.

Runners up were Cultural Anthropology (AAA) and BJU International (Wiley-Blackwell).
