Journal of Vietnamese Studies, the world's only English-language scholarly journal devoted exclusively to Vietnam politics, culture, history and society, will begin publishing three times a year in 2008. The new publishing months for the journal will be February, June and October. Since the publication of its first issue in November 2006, the journal has become a touchstone for the vietnamese-studies community. The expanded publication schedule will allow the journal to better serve that community and will offer greater opportunity for vietnam scholars to publish their research.
