University of California Press Journals + Digital Publishing Division will be using ScholarOne’s Manuscript Central
as its online peer review system. As part of UC Press' longstanding commitment to provide robust and useful tools for its editors and authors, Manuscript Central is a welcome addition to UC Press' suite of services for its clients. Manuscript Central offers a number of features to address a variety of manuscript-submission and peer review requirements, and enables users to submit, review, annotate and format technical manuscripts in innovative ways. The benefits to editorial offices and scholarly authors alike are substantial in terms of both time and money saved.
“We are very pleased to welcome UC Press to the Manuscript Central user community,” says Keith MacGregor, executive vice president of Academic and Government Markets at Thomson Scientific. “As one of the largest, most distinguished and most innovative of the university presses today, UCP brings to our family a tremendous wealth of knowledge and experience in peer review and digital publishing within humanities and social sciences.”
"University of California Press is committed to providing the very best publishing services available to our authors and scholarly society clients. We're very pleased to add Manuscript Central to the suite of services we make available to the editors, authors and reviewers with whom we work." says Rebecca Simon, University of California Press Associate Director for Journals.
