News JERHRE now in MEDLINE UC Press is pleased to announce the inclusion of the Journal of Empirical Research on Human Research Ethics in MEDLINE. JERHRE (pronounced as ‘JERRY’) will be indexed going forward and retrospectively.
Now in its 4th volume, JEHRHE is a unique title, publishing empirical research and reviews of empirical literature on human research ethics. JERHRE aims to improve ethical problem solving in human research and provide an ongoing basis for the establishment of best practice guidelines. Without evidence-based problem solving, ethical questions are unsatisfactorily settled by applying one-size-fits-all interpretation of principles or regulations, or resorting to anecdote as evidence for one or another interpretation. Says Joan Sieber, editor of JERHRE, “The inclusion of JERHRE on MEDLINE vitally advances evidence-based ethical problem solving in biomedical research worldwide.”
Journal of Empirical Research on Human Research Ethics is a key addition to any library’s collection. For further information on JERHRE, including pricing, may be found here. For a free trial to this journal, or for more information, please contact library@ucpressjournals.com. Journal News
